Head into the heart of the mountains of the Alicante province on scenic, narrow roads until you arrive at Guadalest, where you will stop to enjoy the winding streets of this whitewashed town with sights and shops. Explore the castle and take in views of the local reservoir.

From Guadalest, enjoy a short but scenic, winding route down toward the coast and the beautiful seaside town of Altea. Enjoy getting lost on Altea’s winding streets. Work your way up to the plaza in front of the church and out to the lookout point for incomparable 360 degree views of the coastline and Benidorm in the distance. Have lunch in one of Altea’s charming plazas.

THINGS TO KNOW

We will do some moderate walking on cobblestone streets with ascents and descents. If you prefer, you can relax in a square with a glass of wine and simply take in the atmosphere.
Our route involves some curvy, windy roads through a beautiful mountainous region with stunning views.
Enjoy a traditional tapas or set menu lunch on your own in one of Altea’s pretty squares
You will have the opportunity to buy souvenirs, handicrafts, articles of clothing and home decor.
The bus will have luggage space to store purchased items. Plan to arrange for transport of any larger items from the bus drop-off point.
